LIMNMEDIA - Establishing Contact
About a month after the first hole, the build continues—this time with a small but important step: tapping a hole for a swivel foot.

These images show the first mounting point that allows the track assembly to interface with the ground, introducing:
Leveling
Load distribution
Adjustability at the base
-

This was also the first part I installed on the build.
And then I took it off.
In practice, the feet made the track less stable on the workbench—they were too easy to slip off the edge. It turned out to be more reliable to keep the full flat bottom of the rail in contact with the table rather than elevating it on leveling points.
Sometimes the urge to “add the next feature” or install a finished part isn’t the right move yet.
Stability and context matter more than progress for its own sake.
For now, the feet are out, and the track stays flat.
